Many thanks to everyone who helped make the 25 year celebration of our friendship link such a success. The Ladies Please Concert raised £1,043. A most enjoyable evening raising a terrific amount. BIRAPO ! (Thank you in Dogon) Mary Wood
Churches Together -
We’re having a Lunch and Meeting at our Church on Thurs 2nd Oct from 12noon. It is open to anyone interested in how the churches in the village can better work together and it would be great to have some representation from our Church. As we are catering, we need to have numbers in advance to me please by Mon 29th Sept.

Book Sale -
Wow! Wow! Wow! A massive thank you for all the helpers at the Book Sale. Our total from today’s Book Sale (and from the last couple of weeks) is…….. £806.54!!! What a fabulous team effort and brilliant kick start for this year’’s charity. Blessings Wendy and Phil
Church Charity -
A cheque for £3,050 has been sent to Martin House. We have received an email acknowledgement and a letter from the appropriate department will be coming in due course. Thanks to everyone who donated in any way. Our total donations/grants to charities and other groups during 2024-2025 (from donations, collections fund raising and church funds) will be just over £12,000, including the final £5,000 agreed payment towards the cost of the CAP Debt Centre. It’s the time of year again when we order new copies of the Methodist Prayer Handbook. It’s a useful resource, packed with prayers, readings and meditations to see you through the year, and this year we’re promised a new look and style. The cost is £4.50 plus postage, and if you would like to order a copy, please have a word with Richard Lowe

Little Ducklings -
